FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 15, 2001 System Guardian/XC 2000™ Provides Higher AvailabilityNevada City, CA - DuoCor, Inc., a leader in high availability and data recovery software solutions, today announced the release of System Guardian/XC 2000ä for Windows 2000. The new software offers immediate recovery from hard drive and operating system failures for Windows 2000 systems. The new software release contains significant enhancements over XactCopy NT and 95/98 versions. System Guardian/XC 2000ä supports Windows 2000 platforms and uses Windows Explorer for configuration and administration. By utilizing the file manager provided by Microsoft Explorer, there is no new interface for users to learn, and the use of Microsoft Scheduler centralizes the administration of the backup process. System Guardian/XC 2000™ provides fast, disk-to-disk backup and immediate disaster recovery for Windows 2000. High-speed incremental backups can be scheduled to occur while work is in progress, resulting in an exact copy of the selected volumes. System Guardian/XC 2000ä provides immediate recovery from hard drive and operating systems failure as well as backup and restore for individual files, complete folders or entire volumes. "With tighter integration into the Windows interface, administration is very easy," says Kurt Chismark, President and CEO of DuoCor, Inc. "By using the features supported by the Windows interface, we've reduced duplication of services. System Guardian/XC 2000ä feels like its part of the operating system." "As an enterprise solution, DuoCor products dramatically decrease IT support costs and are easy to install and maintain," says Dan Ketchum of Software North, enterprise consultant. Pricing
